Inclement Weather

The Little Garden will follow the Bedford Central School District closings. Should the Bedford Central School District announce a two-hour delayed opening, the preschool program will be closed. Full time students should arrive two hours after his/her normal start time. A one hour delayed opening of Bedford Central Schools will result in a one hour delayed opening for the Little Garden Preschool.

School delays and cancellations will be announced on 100.7 WHUD. Please listen for
Bedford Central School District Announcements.

The Little Garden Preschool may decide to close in the event of severe or extreme conditions.

Please send in the following each day:

Full Day Preschool Program: morning/afternoon snacks and drinks, lunch and drink

Preschool Program: morning snack and drink, lunch and drink

Please send healthy food choices with your child daily. Label all lunch boxes, and drink containers with your child’s name.

On occasion snacks will be sent in by our parents to celebrate birthdays or special occasions. Please inform your child’s teacher of any food allergies or dietary restrictions your child may have.

We’d love to make your child feel special on his/her birthday. You are welcome to send in juice and cupcakes, or your child’s favorite treat to share with the class. If your child has a summer birthday, feel free to choose a day during the school year to celebrate. We ask that you inform us in advance of your plans so that we can work the celebration into our schedule.
